Terms and conditions

Someplace Else act as agents for developers and are developers in their own right.  There are different conditions of payment for both.  These are outlined below: -

Someplace Else the developers
1.1 Payment structure will be outlined in the Purchase Agreement to be signed by purchaser.
1.2 Initial costs, namely our service charges and commissions may be paid via cheque, card or bank transfer.
1.3 All commissions and service charges are non-refundable.
1.4 All further payments relating to the development, stage payments and final completion costs may be paid via cheque or bank transfer.
1.5 Interest may be charged for any late payment.
1.6 All other costs such as any legal fees and stamp duty must be paid direct to the relevant company/governing body.
1.7 If after signing of the contract monies fail to be paid within agreed timescale, this is within breach of contract and in some cases Someplace Else reserves the right to retain all monies paid to date, in consideration of removing the property from sale and turning away other prospective purchasers.
1.8 All confidential information, including credit card details, is held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  It will not be given to any third parties without prior consent.

Someplace Else the agents
2.1 As agents Someplace Else will accept payment for initial finders fee and subsequent commissions and service charges.
2.2 Initial costs, namely our finders fee, service charges and commissions may be paid via cheque, card or bank transfer.
2.3 All commissions and service charges are non-refundable.
2.4 The contract will be between yourself and the developer/vendor.
2.5 Upon signing the contract with the developer/vendor, all issues relating to the development and/or property itself are between yourself and the developer/vendor.
2.6 Whilst we endeavor to ensure that the information and advice we provide about property and land is accurate, complete, and kept up to date, we are unable to guarantee that, and no liability is accepted for, any errors or omissions that may result in any loss or damages.
2.7 We strongly recommend all prospective purchasers to take appropriate legal and other advice and to use the services of solicitors, surveyors, valuers and other specialists. The service provided by us is not intended as a substitute to obtaining such advice and accordingly no liability is accepted for any defects in legal title or in the fabric and structure of any property.
2.8 All confidential information, including credit card details, is held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  It will not be given to any third parties without prior consent.
